Our Residential Property department is our largest by headcount and has teams in each of our three office locations.  The St Albans team is looking to recruit a Solicitor to join three Partners, an Associate and another Solicitor.  We attract a high volume of good quality work and are proud to have a dominant market position in property with a renowned reputation for delivering high quality work for our clients.   

Our role

The role is ideal for an ambitious Residential Property lawyer who:

• has solid previous experience of freehold sale and purchase, and leasehold transactions 
• depending on experience, is seeking to work autonomously managing a busy caseload with the support of a case management system, with access to Solicitor colleague guidance
• demonstrates high standards of client service delivery
• has experience of, or is keen to develop the skills in establishing strong relationships with local estate agents, other referrers of work and internal connections
• has experience of, or who is keen to develop networking and in due course, initiate business development activities

• Pure Residential Conveyancing Lawyer with circa: 1-4 years PQE
• Solid experience of freehold sale and purchase, and leasehold transactions
• Abilty to efficiently manage a busy caseload
• Strong financial track record
• Proven strong academics (as relevant - minimum 2:1 degree, minimum Commendation LPC)
• Strong communication skills
• Close attention to detail and high exacting standard of work
• Positive attitude to self-development and career progression
