The department

Our Accounts Team is integral in supporting our legal departments, in particular our busy property teams.  The Team is led by our Head of Finance who is responsible for the operational function. 

Our role

The successful candidate will join our team of Accounts Assistants who are responsible for:

  • the day-to-day input of client and office transactions and maintaining account ledgers
  • running routine and specialist reports
  • assisting with CHAPS/BACS transactions
  • bank reconciliations
  • keeping accurate accounting records
  • taking and processing on-line payments
  • administrative duties arising out of the accounts function
  • supporting members of the Firm in answering accounts queries

We are delighted to welcome a new junior Accounts Assistant to join our team.  We will provide full training and support.  Some previous junior accounts experience will be an advantage but not essential.

Our role would suit someone who

  • has some general accounts experience at a junior level or someone who is keen to start a career in accounts in professional services, and who may in due course be interested in persuing AAT or similar qualifications
